11 Months!!!!

Makayla Grace ... 

You are 11 months old today!!!! Mommy cannot believe that in just 4 weeks we will be celebrating your first birthday!!! 

We dont know your exact stats but you are probably around 20 pounds now.  You have hit one major growth spurt the past week.  We have officially added in solids along with your breakfast bottle and you continue to eat a great lunch and dinner of solids and bottle.  Daddy and I started you with some apple juice in your sippy cup last week, after making a shocked face when you realized it was not water, you really seemed to enjoy it! 

YOU ARE FINALLY SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!! it only took 9 months (or more)  but your doing it!

What you are up to these days:

• bapple - trying to teach you apple but you always add the ‘B’
• papa - you ALWAYS say this in a whisper and it is simply the cutest thing.

- Shaking your head yes and no.  This morning you were devouring my banana bread and when I gave you a piece of the crust you spit it back out and shook your head no.  Mama couldn’t pull a fast one on you!

• You have an absolute love for books, despite the short attention span we still manage to read at least a few pages at a time :) 
• You have shown more interest in watching Veggie Tales
• You love music, we listen to the childrens folk station on pandora on the weekends and you can do some hand motions for Itsy Bitsy Spider and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. 
• You have a VERY strong will.  We know it is going to be crazy difficult now, but we know when you grow up that determination will be one of your greatest qualities. 
• you love to play with the pups, although they want to avoid you... I know one day when you get older and a little more gentle they will appreciate you a bit more ;)
