First Easter

This was Makayla's first Easter! We had a great day and spent some time with family, went to church, ate a wonderful lunch and attempted to now sleep the entire day. ( At least Makayla was trying, mommy would have LOVED a nap :) I think she was just so excited about Jesus that she couldn't sleep. We must be raising her right!

The easter bunny brought her a ball, rattle, 2 outfits, a book and a baby einstein DVD

I would say she is pretty excited :)

She is saying "Really" and I am pretty sure it has a heavy sarcastic undertone

She waves her hands so much that it was very hard to get a decent picture of her

But we did manage to catch the end of a smile

raising her arms and praising the Lord. 

She doesn't seem to be excited about the sunglasses... I haven't broken the news to her that Mimi and Gigi both got her pairs... One day she will appreciate it :)

She has started to try and grasp things this week so these two new toys were perfect for her. She can hold on to the rattle pretty well although she still hasnt put it together that her arm moving is what makes the noise. 

she is getting better with the ball... I have a feeling this might be a favorite of hers eventually. And if she doesnt like it I am sure Uncle Blake will steal it... he played with it through most of church.
